
After days of no new information, law enforcement on Tuesday announced charges and released details in the double homicide of a mother and daughter in North Catasauqua.
State police said John Bradley, 17, of North Whitehall Township killed Rianna Glass, 16, and her mother, Rosalyn Glass, 39, on Sept. 14 in their home in the 1100 block of Railroad Street.
Bradley, who was previously in a relationship with Glass, was arrested Tuesday.
Court documents released in the case state the following happened between August and Tuesday:
Sometime in August
Rianna ended her relationship with Bradley after he allegedly cheated on her.
Sept. 8
Rianna is involved in an incident in South Whitehall Township. Police said it was believed that someone by the initials “J.B.” physically abused her and threatened her with a knife. Additional details on this incident have not been released.
Sept. 13: 8:14 p.m.
Rianna texted a friend that she just told Bradley she was seeing someone else after their breakup.
8:48 p.m.
Rianna video called her friend and told her Bradley was coming to her house.
9:11 p.m.
Surveillance footage captured someone looking like Bradley walking toward the front of the home. He is then seen walking behind the home.
Sept. 14: 12:42 a.m.
Rianna texted her friend saying, “He won’t leave the house.”
2:33 a.m.
A 14-year-old girl was seen walking into the front entrance of the home.
3:32 a.m.
Surveillance captures Bradley and the 14-year-old walking from the back of the home toward Arch Street, where Rosalyn Glass typically parked her vehicle, a Nissan Murano.
3:36 a.m.
Bradley’s phone connects to Rosalyn Glass’ Nissan Murano.
3:39 a.m.
A Nissan Murano is captured on surveillance traveling west on Arch Street, away from the home on Railroad Street.
5:53 a.m.
Rosalyn Glass’ vehicle is found crashed in the 2000 block of Spring Valley Road in Upper Saucon Township. Bradley and the 14-year-old girl were ejected from the vehicle and hospitalized, according to police.
Bradley was found near a tree. His phone, which disconnected from the car during the crash, and a knife, were found near him, court documents state.

7:35 a.m.
Upper Saucon Township police requested North Catasauqua police contact Rosalyn Glass at her home after her vehicle was found crashed. Officers were not able to reach anyone in the home.
11:33 a.m.
North Catasauqua police are called back to the home after a family friend found Rosalyn Glass unresponsive in the home. Police found Rosalyn Glass at the top of the staircase. She had lacerations to her face and body.
Rianna Glass was found lying facedown on the floor of a bedroom.
1:11 p.m.
Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek pronounces Rianna and Rosalyn Glass dead.
Sept. 15
Investigators, using a search warrant, collect DNA swabs from Bradley while he was hospitalized following the crash.
Sept. 16
An autopsy conducted on Rianna and Rosalyn Glass shows their cause of death was multiple stab wounds, with the manner homicide. Authorities collected DNA samples for them both.
Sept. 19
Bradley was released from the hospital.
Sept. 19: 10:54 a.m.
State police identified Rianna and Rosalyn Glass as the victims of the homicide, five days after the killings.
1:38 p.m.
Bradley was arraigned on charges of homicide and theft. Charging documents state investigators found DNA belonging to him, Riana and Rosalyn Glass, on the knife.
2:30 p.m.
Northampton County District Attorney Terry Houck announced charges against Bradley.
It’s still not clear what the 14-year-old’s relationship is with Bradley, nor is it clear what condition she is in following the crash.
Bradley remains in Northampton County Prison without bail.
