A New Jersey man was convicted Thursday of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Upper Saucon Township.
Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan said in a news release Friday that Spartak A. Fedorovich, 38, was convicted on a number of charges, including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering child welfare.
The DA’s office said police were sent to a home in the township on Oct. 13, 2022, for a report of suspicious activity. Investigators determined Fedorovich had been meeting with a 13-year-old girl in secret.
Police said Fedorovich had sexually assaulted her since she was 12. It happened on at least 10 occasions, according to the DA’s office.
Fedorovich would travel from his home in Phillipsburg to sexually assault the girl, the release states.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
