Allentown police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning that left one person injured.
Police were called to the 400 block of North Jordan Street around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to Assistant Chief James Gress. When they arrived, they found a male had been shot.
Responding officers gave first aid to the victim, who was taken by EMS to the hospital. Police said the gunshot wound was not life-threatening.
Gress said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
