Summer is on its way, and with it comes the tastes of the season at farmers markets throughout the СŷƵ.

Here’s a list of markets you might want to check out in the СŷƵ.

Coopersburg Farmers Market

When: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays, May 18 through Dec. 7.

Location: 5 N. Main St.

Details: Offering a wide range of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal breads, homemade jams and jellies, and more.

Bethlehem Rose Garden

When: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, June 7-Oct. 11

Location: Rose Garden Park, Eighth Avenue and West Union Boulevard

Details: Variety of fresh produce and crafts, weekly pop-up vendors.

Bethlehem Farmers Market

When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays through Nov. 13.

Location: Farrington Square, New and Morton streets

Details: Local, producer-only farmers’ market offers fresh produce, lunch items, baked goods, natural goods, and more.

Easton Farmers Market

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, May 3 through Dec. 20

Location: Scott Park, 128 Larry Holmes Drive, Easton. (Free parking in the two lots across from the park, which you can access by Ferry and South Second streets near the Post Office.)

Details: The nation’s oldest continuously running open-air market has returned to Scott Park for its 272nd season. Vendors offering fresh local produce, meats, bakery items, prepared foods and more.

Scheduled events include Strawberry Day (June 7); Juneteenth (June 14); Pollinator Day (June 21); EFM 273rd Birthday (July 12); Peach Day (Aug. 2); Funky Ferments Fest (Aug. 30); Hot Pepper Showdown (Sept. 27).

Emmaus Farmers Market

When: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays, May 4 through November

Location: Triangle Park (Fourth and Main streets)

Details: Offers a wide variety of seasonal local produce (fruits & vegetables) as well as meats including pastured chicken, pork and beef, local raw milk and cheeses, raw honey, prepared foods, pastries, organic breads, olive oil, roasted coffee, kombucha, flowers and herbal tinctures, and bedding plants.

Nazareth Farmers Market

When: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, May 3 through October

Location: Nazareth Circle, Main and Center streets

Details: The market features over 20 vendors selling locally grown produce, prepared foods and crafts including farm fresh produce, artisan cheese, homemade baked goods, flowers, peanut butter, strudel, grass-fed meats, honey, kiffles, farm fresh eggs, marinara sauce, cooking oils, as well as plants, handmade soaps, candles, dog treats and more.

Saucon Valley Farmers Market

When: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays, May 4 through Nov. 23.

Where: Next to the Hellertown Library, 409 Constitution Ave.

Details: Fresh seasonal produce and unique specialty products. Events include “Art in the Park” every fourth Sunday of the month and features local artisans offering a wide variety of crafts, gifts and specialty items.
