Freddy Awards 2025: Nazareth Area High School’s ‘Seussical’ leads the nominations. View the full list

Nazareth Area High School’s production of “Seussical,” the musical comedy based on the works of Dr. Seuss, leads the way among this year’s Freddy Awards nominations with 18.

The nominations for the awards ceremony, which recognizes the best in СŷƵ high school theater, were announced Thursday during a live broadcast on WFMZ.

Emmaus and Parkland high schools were next with 15 nominations each. Easton Area received 13 nominations and Bangor Area, 12.

Nearly 30 schools from Lehigh and Northampton counties and Warren County, New Jersey, participate in the program, putting on spring musicals to thousands of spectators across the region.

The Freddy Awards Ceremony will be broadcast live on WFMZ from the State Theatre in Easton at 7 p.m. May 22.
