Two men are charged in a shooting that injured a woman and prompted a brief lockdown of two nearby schools Wednesday morning in Allentown.
Zayvone Browning-Bradshaw, 20, and Anthony Santana, 18, were arraigned Thursday on charges alleging the two hit the woman when they were shooting at each other not far from Allen High School.
Both are charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license and recklessly endangering another person. Browning-Bradshaw also is charged with prohibited possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.
Browning-Bradshaw and Santana were sent to Lehigh County Jail on $500,000 and $300,000 bail each, respectively.
Search warrants related to the incident said police were called to the 200 block of North 18th Street for a report of shots fired. A woman was shot in the leg while in the parking lot across from the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, according to court documents.
Surveillance footage from Allen High School showed a group of people in a parking lot across from the school gym.

Browning-Bradshaw approached the group and began arguing with someone in the group, according to his criminal complaint. He then walked away, turned around and faced the group, police said.
He then “squared up” with Santana, who was standing between two parked vehicles, charging documents state. Browning-Bradshaw pulled out a gun, prompting Santana to get behind a parked vehicle and pull out a gun, police said.
Santana fired about four shots in the direction of Browning-Bradshaw, court documents allege.
The woman who was shot was sitting in a parked car between the two men, and she fled the area after she was shot, police said. Additionally, her vehicle was hit three times by gunfire, according to authorities.

Investigators viewed surveillance footage and identified the men from previous incidents, charging documents state.
Browning-Bradshaw was arrested at his home on West Chew Street, not far from where the shooting happened. He had a handgun on him when police arrested him, according to the search warrant.
Officers at the home told him to show his hands and stop, but he continued to walk toward them, prompting them to pin him against the wall at the home, police said. He kicked an officer during his arrest, charging documents allege.
Police found a Glock magazine with 16 live rounds and the upper slide of the gun in the home, court documents state.
Santana was arrested in the 200 block of North 17th Street later, according to police. He admitted to the shooting, charging documents state.
The shooting Wednesday prompted a brief lockdown of both Allen High School and Raub Middle School while police investigated the area.
The woman who was shot was take to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries, which police described as not life-threatening.
Both men have the Lehigh County Public Defender’s Office listed as their attorney. Neither had specific attorneys assigned for them Friday morning, and a message left with the office was not immediately returned.
