The fried chicken chain Dave’s Hot Chicken opened May 2 at 218 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township.

The family-owned Blackbird Antiques opened May 3 at 19 Belvidere St. in Nazareth.

Cousin’s Burger served free burgers, fries and sodas as part of its grand opening May 3 at 44 N. Eighth St. in Allentown.

ճExtraordinary Smiles dental practice hosted a ribbon cutting May 3 at 5021 Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.

The Wicked Botanist plant shop held a grand opening after it relocated from 707 N. New St. in Bethlehem to 267 E. Broad St.

Eighteen-year-old Richy Castillo opened Allentown Barber Studio May 5 at 2211 Mack Blvd., Suite 207, in Allentown. He offers haircuts for men and boys of any age, hair washes, facials, and servicing for beards and eyebrows.

The flooring supplier P.C. Floors held a ribbon cutting May 7 for its ninth location at 7277 William Ave. in Upper Macungie Township.

Paris Baguette held a grand opening May 9 on the first floor of the Dream Boyd Theatre apartments at 32 W. Broad St. in Bethlehem.

The family-owned tattoo, makeup and piercing shop Metropolitan Ink & Beauty Bar held a grand opening May 10 at 28 N. Third St. in Easton.

The national Shah’s Halal Food chain has opened at 3110 Tilghman St. in South Whitehall Township, it announced .

Main Street Pizzeria & Pub opened at 191 W. Main St. in Macungie, where it offers pizza, wings, garlic knots, catering and beer deliveries.

The Aroma of India restaurant opened May 12 at 921 Hamilton St. in Allentown. It offers appetizers, dishes of chicken and lamb, soups and desserts like kheer.

The luxury consignment store Relux held a grand opening May 16 at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township.

Honeygrow opened May 23 at 1872 Airport Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, where diners can customize their honeybar desserts and stir-fry dishes.

CLOSURES:

The Properly Laced shoe store announced May 6 it would close its location at the Live/Work Unit at The Hive Residences at 107 N. Seventh St. in Allentown.

The women’s apparel retailer Rainbow was slated to close around mid-May at the Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township.

The sustainable products store FD Market closed its retail store May 18 at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township, but it will continue its manufacturing and wholesale business.

The restaurant Petey’s Eatey’s closed May 22 at 5879 Sullivan Trail in Plainfield Township

ճJust Twisted hair salon opened April 1 at 2180 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township

The Hawaii Fluid Art studio held a grand opening April 3 at 3325 Hamilton Blvd. in South Whitehall Township following its soft opening in November. It offers fluid art classes and a gift shop for purchasing artwork, pottery jewelry and woodwork.

The Willow Haven Farm General Store held a grand opening celebration 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 4 and 5, at 8150 Hamilton Blvd. in Upper Macungie Township. It offers offers locally produced organic groceries, farm products, pantry items, baked goods and a cafe.

The thrift and consignment store DA’V Family Treasures opened April 8 at 660 Main St. in Slatington.

The 24-hour Emmaus Car Wash reopened April 9 at 17 S. 12th St. in Emmaus.

Horizon Sports Pickleball opened April 10 at 61 W. Second St., Wind Gap. It hosts 13 courts and a 2,000-square-foot area for parties and corporate events.

The restaurant Brooklyn Eats held a grand reopening April 11 for its expanded menu and hours at 1236 Northampton St. in Easton. It serves breakfast all day and a menu of eggs, bacon, omelets, pancakes, burgers, chicken fingers, onion rings, salads, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, pasta, desserts and more.

The Hitter’s Edge batting facility held its grand opening April 12 for its new permanent tenant, the 7 Deadly Spins Fastpitch softball training company.

Di Kitchen Jamaican Restaurant held a grand opening April 12 at 1710 Butler Street in Wilson Borough, where it serves Jamaican and soul food such as spicy jerk chicken, tender oxtail, fish, curried goat, macaroni and cheese, rice and peas, rasta pasta, potato salad and steamed cabbage

The glow-in-the-dark entertainment facility Monster Mini Golf opened April 12 at the Dorneyville Shopping Center at 3227 Hamilton Blvd. in South Whitehall Township. It hosts an 18-hole miniature golf course, artwork of СŷƵ landmarks, video games, bowling, virtual reality experiences, private parties and field trips.

The Thirsty Turtle Tavern opened April 14 at 1410 Grape St. in Whitehall Township. It offers beer, wine, cocktails, tenders, fries, poutine, pretzels, nachos, eggrolls, wings, sandwiches, burritos, tacos, burgers, pizza and sushi, television screens and a lounge area.

The butcher shop and market Mangia Carne opened April 18 at the Easton Public Market at 325 Northampton St. in Easton. It offers meats, imported Italian cheeses such as prosciutto, sandwiches, lasagna, chicken parmesan, breads, tomato sauce and vegetables.

Redd and Co. Fine Jewelers relocated April 22 from 5248 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie Township to 6776 Hamilton Blvd. in the same municipality.

Papa Johns opened a new location April 23 at 1401 Easton Ave. in Bethlehem, franchisee Hany Sorial confirmed. It operates 11-1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Spice Crust Pizzeria held a grand opening April 24 at 2910 Easton Ave., Unit 11, in Bethlehem Township. It offers pizza types like “Mexican Taco Pizza” and “Halal Butter Chicken Pizza,” wings, pasta, sandwiches, wraps, takeout and home delivery.

The property restoration company Compleat Restorations held a grand opening April 24 for its new location at 974 Marcon Blvd., Suite 220, in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, a news release announced.
