Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving an electric bicycle that left a man injured Tuesday morning in Upper Macungie Township.
Upper Macungie police said in a news release that a dark-colored sedan was going northbound on Cetronia Road about 7 a.m. The vehicle turned left onto Werley Road and hit the bicycle, causing the rider to be thrown from it.
The rider was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The sedan continued westbound on Werley Road. Police believe it sustained damage to its right passenger side and possibly its roof.
